David Hochbaum

Hochbaum's work involves several techniques, heavily rooted in photography, painting and wood sculpture, which he often works on simultaneously. He prefers to exhibit this mélange of 2-D and 3-D works to weave a narrative which rouses multiple emotional triggers. Hochbaum believes that his work is best experienced as it is created, within the studio with marked walls covered in scribbles with lashings of color and text.
